When you move the muscles in your body, they produce a substance called sarcolactic acid, also called the "acid of fatigue." When too much of this acid forms around a muscle, the muscle becomes "tired."

The same sarcolactic acid is found in your blood too, as it travels to all parts of your body. So your entire body, and not just one muscle or set of muscles, becomes tired after a period of time.

When you sleep or rest, however, your body clears away these acids from around the muscles and from your blood, giving your body a chance to repair or replace cells, oil your joints, and recharge your brain and nerve cells with electrical energy.

The right half of the brain controls the left side of the body, and the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body.

In most people, the left side of the brain is better developed, so the right hand is stronger and more controllable than the left hand. But sometimes, the right side of the brain is more developed; then the person is left-handed.

Less than one person in six is left-handed. No one is sure why so many more people are right-handed. It's possible that the reasons go back to the days of the caveman.

A person who was born right-handed would fight with a weapon in his right hand and use his left hand to shield himself; a left-handed person would fight with his left hand and shield himself with his right hand.

A person who uses his left hand to shield himself protects his heart, which is on the left side of the body. So, many right-handed persons who were wounded would survive, while left-handed persons would suffer wounds around their heart and die.

Over the course of evolution, this higher survival rate among right-handed persons could have led to more persons being born right-handed.

The continent of Antarctica contains about 10 percent of all the land on earth.

Yet Antarctica is the most remote, hard-to-get-to place on our planet. Its possible to visit every continent except Antarctica without ever crossing more than about 100 miles of sea. But Antarctica is everywhere at least 600 miles from the nearest continent!

Antarctica is also the loneliest place on earth. In the Northern Hemisphere, large parts of Canada, Alaska, Russia, Greenland, and Scandinavia lie above the Arctic Circle.

Even though it's cold, thousands of people live in this polar region. In the Southern Hemisphere, Antarctica reaches all the way to the Antarctic Circle.

In this region, there are no trees, few plants, and not a single permanent inhabitant!

You were my everything;
Now you're gone.
I don't have the strength
To carry on.

Skies always seemed sunny
When you were here;
Now there's nothing but gloom
In my atmosphere.

I loved you so much;
You were all I had;
Now my whole world
Is depressing and sad.

I'd like to start feeling
Other than blue,
But you were my everything,
What can I do?

Is it really true our love is over now?
Can it be time for us to say goodbye?
Too soon, it's much too soon, my love, for me;
You smile with ease, but I can only sigh.

We've shared our lives and given so much love;
I can't believe we're really going to part;
You're moving toward a new life without me;
I'm left with scars upon my broken heart.

Go on now, if you must; I'll get along;
How much it hurts, I don't want you to know.
I'll set you free without inducing guilt,
But as you leave, the silent tears will flow.

I can't be mad; I love you way too much;
I'll hide my sadness now, so you can't tell.
Sweet happiness is what I wish for you;
Farewell my love, I hope that you fare well

I never stopped to realize
How lonely I would be
I never thought the day would come
When you'd grow tired of me

Your voice was never sweeter
Than the day you said goodbye
You'll never know how much it hurt
Because I'm too big to cry

I say hello and wish you well
Each time I pass you by
But you'll never know how much it hurt
Because I'm too big to cry

You never looked so wonderful
As the day you walked away
I used to say, "I love you"
But that I could not say

I can't forget you darlin'
No matter how much I try
You'll never know how much it hurt
Because I'm too big to cry

Success lies not in the result but in the effort...

"Being" the Best is not at all important,"Doing" the Best is all that matters....
